Sukhvinder Singh Dadehar ji Is telling the truth and explaining in very correct way to guide the misguided Sikhs, because they have left the Guru-path by following the old Hindu traditions; the only difference is that they are using Gurbani verses in stead of Gytari mantra and so on, but ritualism and intent are the same.. Sikhi is all about realizing the inner-self to understand the all pervading Creator as Sargun (with attributes) and Nirgun (without attributes) by acquiring virtues not settling one’s affair by getting done “Akhandpath’ through getting in a big queue of misguided people.. Sikhi needs such kind of preachers these days.
Today’s “Akhand path (continue reading of Sri Guru Granth Sahib) activities” are become business. I feel appropriate to refer in this context First Nanak , who warns about selling “Naam” (1245, SGGS), but shamelessly “Naam” is being sold; both, the sellers and buyers are the Guru’s thieves. Why they are doing it? They are highly influenced by Hindu-mentality and it is obvious that doing a ritual is a piece of cake and changing one’s flawed mind into virtuous one is very difficult. As Kabir ji says (1158, SGGS), such Sikhs have taken the Creator as a toy. It is very sad to see all such practices mushrooming everywhere.
